The Vayurvya AeroX Competition is an annual event designed to ignite the passion for RC planes among enthusiasts of all skill levels. It's a platform to showcase your design ingenuity and piloting prowess through a series of captivating challenges. Participants will build RC planes adhering to specific categories, pushing the boundaries of design and functionality.Judges meticulously evaluate each aircraft based on a predetermined criteria, including flight performance, design originality, and adherence to the competition rules.
Recent Participation
Team FAL-COM from MPSTME Mumbai, led by Nidhish Kuttat along with aditya Sawnt, Reyansh Shetty, Pranav Manivannan, and Chitrita Rao took part in the Fixed Wing UAV Challenge under the guidance of Prof.
Mayur S. Marathe (Department of Mechanical Engg.) & DI. Prashant Kharote (Department of EXTC). Jain Deemed organised a national level competition on Advances in UAV Technology to-be University, located at Bengaluru, on 25-27 October 2024. They brought together various UAV teams across India to explore recent advances in UAV technology and put their designs to the test. The competition aimed to build a fixed-wing UAV that could lift and deliver the maximum weight possible within the wing span of 12 m and chord length of 25 cm, as well as automatic or manual payload delivery in the target zone using a parachute. Team FAL-COM aimed to create an efficient fixed-wing drone capable of carrying a payload to a target zone.
The Jain University competition, held from October 25–27, 2024, brought together UAV teams from across India to explore recent advances in UAV technology and put their designs to the test.
Team FAL-COM from MPSTME Mumbai took part in the Fixed Wing UAV Challenge, aiming to create an efficient fixed-wing drone capable of carrying a payload to a target zone.
In the flight testing round, we demonstrated our UAV’s performance without a payload. Our drone’s stability and control were exceptional, handling the takeoff, flight, and landing smoothly. The successful completion of this round showcased our drone's design efficiency.
